I can't sing Angela's praises enough. Many years ago I was searching far and wide for weightlifting coaching in North London before I eventually stumbled across a weekly class she was running at a tiny local venue. I arrived for a taster session, as a very unpolished self-taught lifter, and despite us both literally staring at a locked door on that first early morning I knew I was onto a valuable thing and there was no doubt I would be back. The classes were a game-changer and quickly became a highlight of my week. Angela's ability to consistently and patiently bring her huge experience to bear and precisely know what each lifter needs, at any ability level, is second to none. After a short while, we started working together on bespoke programming which was invaluable and really took my lifting to the next level - most often I'd be training remotely but I would always get exactly the pointers I needed and the programming was always detailed, enjoyable and brought tangible results! This was all at the same time as her working relentlessly on and attaining a PhD in the science of the sport... amazing! I can safely say that Angela's programming and rare attention to detail formed the bedrock of me more recently taking the step into becoming a competitive masters weightlifter - something that would have been impossible without her dedication to the craft and unwavering ability to help people realise their potential. I can only add that aside from weightlifting, Angela has become a much loved friend too, equally able to banter about sci-fi, statistics, street art or the silliness of the world around us.

Angie has been a part of my lifting journey for over a decade now.
